Speaker: Ratnamala Kapur, Village Ways Charitable Trust

Ratnamala Kapur is a founding director of Village Ways and the Managing Trustee of the Village Ways Charitable Trust. Based in Delhi, she balances her leadership role with a professional background in handicraft design and export. Driven by a passion for Himalayan traditions, Kapur established the Trust in 2008 to complement the organization's tourism initiatives. Under her guidance, the Trust empowers remote mountain communities in Uttarakhand through health education, telemedicine, and livelihood training. She notably pioneered the HERnetwork, training local women as peer health educators, and founded the Supi Community Centre to support female artisans.
